Tulsi Gabbard stapt op: 'Zeer dankbaar'

WASHINGTON (ANP) Het hoofd van de Amerikaanse inlichtingendiensten, Tulsi Gabbard, stapt op. Fox News meldt dat op basis van haar ontslagbrief. Haar man kreeg onlangs de diagnose van een zeldzame vorm van botkanker. Ze stopt op 30 juni om haar man te steunen. In haar ontslagbrief schrijft Gabbard "zeer dankbaar" te zijn voor het vertrouwen dat ze de afgelopen anderhalf jaar heeft gekregen.
