Rapper Drake brengt drie albums uit

LOS ANGELES Drake heeft vrijdag naast zijn eerder aangekondigde album ICEMAN ook twee extra albums uitgebracht. De Canadese rapper verraste fans om middernacht met de onverwachte releases van HABIBTI en MAID OF HONOR. Op sociale media reageren fans verrast, nadat de albums zonder enige aankondiging vooraf verschenen. De albums markeren zijn eerste solo-werk sinds zijn beruchte rapruzie met Kendrick Lamar.

ICEMAN, het negende studioalbum van Drake bevat in totaal achttien nummers. Op de plaat staan samenwerkingen met onder meer Future, Molly Santana en 21 Savage. De artiest onthulde de releasedatum van het album in april door in Toronto ijsblokken te plaatsen waarin de datum was verstopt.
