WASHINGTON (ANP) De Amerikaanse oud-president Barack Obama zal zijn zestigste verjaardag alleen vieren met familie en vrienden, in plaats van met de eerder aangekondigde honderden gasten, meldt The New York Times op basis van de woordvoerster van Obama en zijn vrouw. De oud-president kreeg veel kritiek op het voorgenomen feest wegens de verspreiding van de Delta-variant van het coronavirus.
