Franse ex-minister Dati beschuldigd van corruptie in zaak-Ghosn

PARIJS (ANP/AFP) Het Franse Openbaar Ministerie zei dinsdag dat het de voormalige minister van Justitie Rachida Dati (archieffoto) heeft aangeklaagd vanwege haar omgang met de in ongenade gevallen oud-ceo van Renault, Carlos Ghosn. Dati is een prominent lid van de rechtse partij Les Républicains (LR) en een naaste bondgenoot van ex-president Nicolas Sarkozy (2007-2012). Dati wordt beschuldigd van "passieve corruptie door een volksvertegenwoordiger" en van "profiteren van machtsmisbruik" vanwege advieswerk dat ze deed voor Ghosn van 2010 tot 2012. In die jaren was ze ook lid van het Europees Parlement. Dati zou in die periode 900.000 euro aan advocaatkosten hebben ontvangen. Ze zei dat ze terug zou vechten.
