HENGELO (ANP) Polsstokhoogspringer Armand Duplantis doet op 6 juni mee aan de FBK Games in Hengelo. De 21-jarige Zweedse wereldrecordhouder gebruikt de wedstrijd als voorbereiding op de Olympische Spelen in Tokio. "Beter bestaat simpelweg niet. Het is echt geweldig dat de beste atleet van dit moment naar Hengelo komt”, zegt toernooidirecteur Ellen van Langen. Duplantis heeft het wereldrecord met 6,18 meter in handen.
